The key to looking beautiful is a smooth clear skin, but unfortunately not all of us are gifted with flawless skin. A good diet and routine care can improve the skin condition but if it is in your genes the dream of a perfect complexion may just remain that … a dream. That said, it doesn’t mean that you can’t make your skin look flawless. Sure you can with the right products and right application techniques. Don’t fall for advertisement gimmicks about products that promise you skin as smooth as marble and as soft as a peach. The right techniques will help you achieve the look you want without spending a whole lot of money. Not all of us have the smooth silky skin that we so desire. Even after following stringent skin care regimes we may not be able to achieve it. Don’t fret if you have oily or drab skin from your parents. The right kind of makeup applied the right way can easily transform the skin to look good. With no blemishes and spots visible you will feel better about your own self. A few simple techniques will set you for a smooth looking day.The foundation to a good makeup is a well applied foundation. The base makeup (foundation) is the first step to a clear looking face. You will need a foundation that will work for the finished look you are planning. If you are looking for a matte finish or for a glowing finish, it will have to start with a foundation that will give you the look. You may have selected a very good foundation, but if it doesn’t match your skin tone, it will be hard earned money down the drain. A badly matched foundation will give you a sloppy and awful look. Usually a foundation that blends into the skin at the back of your hand should do fine for you. You may need different tones in different weather.Rub the foundation into your face. Check to see if it is evenly applied all over the face, concealing the spots and blemishes. The face should have an even tone. Be careful with the edges, rub the foundation in properly so that a line doesn’t show near the hairline or jaw line.If there are blemishes which are still seen after the application of fou8ndation, you will need a skin toned concealer to hide them. Do blend it in after application. If you are looking for a matt finish, use some clear powder to set the foundation. Continue with a blusher. It will add some healthy color to your face. Brush it lightly on the cheekbones, chin and the forehead. A little dab on the nose is also fine. Again choose a shade that will look good with your complexion. A bad choice of color will give you an artificial toy like look.Remove all traces of makeup from your face and neck before you retire to bed. Remove it using a good makeup remover. Follow with the cleansing-toning-moisturizing routine. A clean skin will be able to breathe better and look better. -- iSTags: hair salons, beauty products, beauty items, womens interest
